My Web Hosting provider is upgrading their servers sometime during the next days (between 25-28 January), so this website will probably be down for ~1hour… That is, if everything goes right.

If you’re one of the employers I had/will have interviews with, and you’re reading this, I really hope the site won’t offline for too long.

Here I am. Back to my humble Blog.
One week passed, and I’m loving the new job.
During these first days, I had to learn how to move around the already existing codebase, and at the same time had to learn the CEGUI library. I’ll need to learn more along the way, but things should speed up now.
Needless to say, I had to make an extra effort and work around 12h-13h a day, which was worth it, because now I feel more comfortable when deciding how to tackle a particular problem.
I didn’t felt very productive, and was stressed the first two days or so (and sick), but things are getting organized now, which is normal.
Lets see when can I find the time to post something decent!

I’m such a lucky guy! hehe.
First day at work, and I’m sick. My eyes hurt, all my muscles, my head. I think it’s flew… First one in a long time.
Still, I think I’ll be able to work.

That’s it…

That’s it…

Tomorrow (15 January), I start full time as a game programmer. Still some things left to sort out in my last job, so during the next few days I’ll need to be available to fix some things on the last tasks. Nothing too complicated, I hope.

Do you feel you need to improve on something? Maybe overcome fears, keep motivation levels high? How to become more productive?

If you are an indy game developer, and you’ve heard of Dexterity Software, chances are you already heard about Steve Pavlina and his articles about Personal Development, Time Management, etc.

It’s been some years since I checked some of his articles, and it amazed me with his tricks, advices, insights. After some time, he started his own Personal Development site, and wrote even more articles. If you want to improve on something, check some of his articles, I’m sure you’ll like them as much as I did and still do.

Hello world!

Well… What can programmer do when trying something new?
